ABOUT ME ...

I've spent most of my life enthralled by the power of words and language, and almost half it as a teacher of English and Literature in several secondary schools in Perth, Western Australia.

Along with my love of words comes a love of music, and this site is a chance for me to write at length about both of these things, and many other things as well.

As a husband and father, life is rich and rewarding. It's also hard and busy. For me, listening to music, reading and writing help keep me going.

Hopefully, every now and then, you might stumble onto something that keeps you going, too.
